Re: Kendal Winter League 2008
Thinking of coming up to the Whitestone Fell Race this Sunday for my first taste of the Kendal Winter League.
Should have all the family involved with a bit of luck - 2 x U17 and the wife.
I take it this is a fell race with Fell shoes the ideal - can anyone confirm?

It's definately fell shoes for all. The only alternative might be wellies for the seniors as the boggy bits might be mildly damp at the mo. Can you swim?:)
It's a great race for all the family. Welcome along.

So, weather permitting, we're thinkin of doing the next winter league.
Any clues on what to expect - the last one got rave reviews!
Re: Kendal Winter League 2008
So it's a 12.00 noon start for the U12's. Do the other races just follow as and when or is there a set time for them as well?

We just follow each race on after the last. So it's U12, U14, U17 then Seniors. Seniors are usually off by 1.00 but make sure you keep an eye on the kids races so you aren't late. Enjoy your race.
