I meant save your route in routegadget.
Interesting route choices in the elite on day 1 and 3 for the two long legs, some went north to the out of bounds some direct lined it. lots of retirements.. is that normal?
I think so. I guess it's one of a) the course is much harder than expected, day 1 turns out be a right killer and the prospect of doing it all over again isn't exactly tempting, or b) strong runners who fancy themselves to be in the mix lose lots of time either through a big error or struggling physically and rather than slog round to finish the event they jack it in.
We retired on day 2 of the LAMM Elite this year after an epic on day one and realising part way through day two we couldn't make it back in time for my partner's train home (i.e. I couldn't drag my arse round quick enough). We'll be back next year though!
suspect that our one/ the real one is the toughest!
Go to top right and tick the 'draw your route' box - then choose your course and select your name.
Start to draw your route, making sure to go into the exact middle of the circle (it will shoot out a blue line to the next control - if it doesn't, you haven't got to the middle and you won't be able to save it) continue round the course until you've gone reached the finish then click 'Save your route' - It should confirm it's saved.
If at any point you realise you've made a slight error with your drawing click the blue 'Undo' button at the top
