I just about got enough energy inside but wondered if I'd have finally run out on Cadair. I was still going OK on Complan and Hi5 (and oddly, crisps!) though.

Seems that way! Full Moon Wed 28/4 and Fri 28/5/2010. I'd be inclined to try and cover 22 May too to improve chances of decent weather. This supposing I was so foolish as to attempt the thing again :D.

Boy Wonder are you still up for some gorse clearance :D Does anyone own a chainsaw :eek:

This really is a tough round.
IIRC, you were with us on the last two sections of Yiannis' successful Meirionydd.
Just cast your mind back to how whacked Yiannis looked on those sections - if the Greek Mountain Gods find it hard going over that terrain, what hope for the rest of us!!

Unlucky Rob, sounds like you gave it a good go, hope you're recovering OK. Keep us in the loop for your next attempt and any recce runs, I know hardly any of the Merionydd area so nice to see that area.

Well it would be a shame to leave it five sixths completed... you've got enough offers of help already & ten months to cut a way through the forest... ;)

You get the contract. Just 2 fallen trees to deal with Moley, to return it to its 1998 condition. Also a few hundred m of forest ride needs reinstating ... do you do tracks ?

Yes Kev, noteable that I wasn't much faster than him on his slowest ascents (just 2 mins on Glasgwm) - and he'd done one more section than me by then :eek:. Ho hum.
