Nice pics Jan - get the kids tunnelling through those drifts!
We're knee-deep.
I'm going to steal my brother's mountain bike while the bent bits on my road bike are being straightened out.
Getting the bus all week will drive me crazy!
That was brilliant fun!! Although the dog's natural sled-pulling skills - like he would have in the wild - did not emerge. In fact it was bloody difficult trying to steer the sled with one hand and hold the mutt's lead in the other!!
Using the sledge as a snowboard didn't quite work out either. A few entries for the falling over thread I think.
Got a few weird looks from some of the other dog walkers:o
From my hill, Pendle was in front of me looking all pretty covered in snow, and I began to wonder...Geronimo??...Sledge??...Hmmm...???
Finally got out for a run in the snow today during my "lunchbreak" as I am working (shirking?) from home today:rolleyes:. Most of the paths are unwalked on yet as the snow fell midweek so great fun for running in:D

I got eyeballed by a kestrel on the way home. Probably thought I was about to drop and there might be some fresh meat available:)

Does not look likley as i pulled my calf muscle on sunday at the relay. its still giving me grief . much as i 'd love to go for a run in the snow ,probably better to rest it . dont want to be out of action for the water shed. will try to get to the sportsman cos tom has got me a new head torch
Dh
Don't know about anyone else, but a sense of normality has returned today. Packed the kids off to school, roads weren't as bad once I got off our hill and even managed a few chores in exotic Holmfirth. C'est la vie....
Still stacks o' snow piled up though! :)
