Hey, don't forget it's also Purple Plodder's birthday today. We tried to get him to go for a birthday swim in Mermaid's Pool on Kinder this evening, but he didn't seem too keen on the idea for some reason!! I wonder if I'll manage it next month? Hmm, maybe not!

It seems like it. Actually, the ice on Mermaid's Pool was so thick last night that even with big Duncan jumping up and down in the middle it wouldn't break!
