Highly unlikely....will see how it shapes up over next few days before i email and give up my place but not been able to run for 6 weeks and 30 mins jogging with 11 year old daughter isnt exactly going to get me in Championship readiness:cool:

Anything i sit on these days seems to get cross. Bike has not spoken to me all week and has filed for divorce, at least wife still loves me, i think, havn't seen much of her this week, she may have run off with me bike!!!!!

This thread was fly-blown weeks ago....the maggots 'ave turned into casters (anglers amongst us (yes..some of us do 'ave other interests!) will know wot I'm on about) and t'flies are ready to 'atch.

So chuck some fresh meat out there or get to bed (that's where any self-respecting athlete would be at this time o neet!).

Well he's kind of got a point - a few pages back I think it was Onehill who mentioned she'd run her first race as a pony and her post was totally lost amongst posts from regulars calling themselves ballbags. The thread has lets face it become a lads get together with not altogether very funny stuff (lads-mag jokes about wanking being a good example) over powering the good bits and probably putting off many otherwise interested runners.

Lets face it, its moved away from the fundamental ethos of the fell ponies as a running club for randoms and could do with some urgent re-balancing maybe.

Lights fuse paper and stands well back.....
