:D oh was it your first night staying in the new pace then calf? I am sure you will get used to the road...
morning everyone - not raining here either although it is overcast, it thundered and lightened a bit last night but don't think it really cleared the air!
Just off out for a mini run (got a bit of a cough so nothing too hardcore for me :o )
Oh and i am in charge in my work today, which means I can be a bossy lady and also be on here all day :D
Morning Hillums
yeah we had a proper thunder and lightening show last night and really really tipped it down, strangely the sun was shining while it was all going on, rainbows were ten a penny!:D
Enjoy ya run!
calf i am going to buy my carpet later on today - what colour shall i go for do you think? :D
errr errr errrrr
colour colour???
does not compute does not compute!!!!
*thud*
one you like :o
I was in the bedding place last night, my gawd it was like one of the sci fi movies when the corridors are 1000 miles long full of stuff.
I felt dizzy, all the different colours, patterns, sizes, material, summer range, winter range, togs??, embroidered, non embroidered.................eeek
ah ha a cheap off cut.
Brill thinking
How was the run???
Oh what does everyone think.
As part of my green transport policy!!!!
Use it in conjunction with the train to get to w**k!
indeed it does! :D
Just need to have a chat with the boss about me getting in 20 mins later and going home 20 mins later so I can get a reasonable time train rather than getting up at 5 friggin 40.
12 hours.....eeek no fun that mate! :(
dont ever enter dunhelm mill danazz
women luv it
once they have you in there it nowt but pay out :(
:D oh i like dunelm
last time i was in there i bought curtain material (very nice) and a curtain pole and a lampshade :)
wish I'd known that Hill, I could have sent you!
You could done the colour thing and I wouldn't have got a headache!!! :o
How's life in charge???
Oh I would've spent far too much money... also I don't really know about colours, I had to make my whole living room fit in because I bought the curtain material first, and just bought something i like as opposed to thinking it through :o
 being in charge is busy.
can you make us be able to dial isdns, can you make me be able to send back footage from italy, can you fix the audio mixer in the radio studio, can you do this and that - also - my minions keep wanting me to explain things to them!
And i thought I would get to sit on my arse all day!
Thought the idea of being in charge was got your plebs to do all that for you!
A handy phrase is!
If I do it now you won't learn and you'll ask me again!
if you learn how to do it yourself you won't bug me again so eff off and figure it out, god gave you a brain!
. o O (wonder why I'm not in management)
someone tell me to get on with some work and stop thread trashing on here!
Daleside get on with some work and stop threadbashing.
FFS
i suppose the rain has stopped slightly - i'll give it a go. :(
Ooo do you work outside....
Lucky thing!:o
Ooo daleside what are you doing outside :)
obviously not much ......- but i am slowly getting my act together -I reckon in the next few minutes i'll be leaving the house, getting on the bike - cycling about half a mile - doing someone's lawn and pulling any weeds out that have popped up since my last visit. thats why i am ligitimatly putting it off as its been raining!
Wish I had a job outside, there is only me in the whole building this week from 9-5, I have no one to talk to until the phone rings, it makes it a very long week working all alone :(
but at least you have the forum sarah! and your day dreams - if you can squeeze any in during your day - i cant believe i am still here - bye !i am going now
Yes this is true, and i've managed to do some stretching so it's not all bad :)
Afternoon!
guess where I've been??.................
DUNELM!!!
Blimey what a coincidence - there you all are talking about it and there I was!
get owt????
I've been sat in a meeting trying to keep my eyes open!!!!
well I went to Ilva in Manchester first and spent 70p on a pink fishing net - then at the last minute saw a pot thing that would look nice (and does) in my new front room - the label on the shelf said £10 but the till zapped it at £19:eek:
Not impressed by this sudden inflation i commented on shelf sticker and promptly escorted the very nice shop lady to the shelf - who then pointed out the label referred to another vase:mad: of course STILL not happy about this I pointed out that it was very misleading as if the label was for a different vase SURELY it should be in front of the object it refers to and not one further along the shelf - she obviously couldn't be bothered to disagree any further and subsequently gave me a £19 pot for a tenner:D
Dunelm - no nowt I wanted - couldn't find a colour match:rolleyes:
yes working outside is not all it is cracked up to be - i have spent the last three quarters of an hour in a garage (leaking) waiting for the rain to stop the rivers to tunr back to roads and the thunder to stop making me jump out of my skin, here is what i managed eventually to come back to (i had to cross this junction on the bike!)
the weeds are now swamped and the lawn is a little tipsy ie half cut!
