I just found it on a forum:rolleyes:
But it was worth the wait - I saw the first half and thought we might get 1 - 2 minutes.
I'm not sure on the other region, I'll have to see if I can find it - what ITV area is it up in the North East? Do they still have Tyne-Tees?
Just watched it. It was good and I spotted myself :D:D ( travel tip. Don't EVER have a week in Redcar, bloody awful place, rough as hell too )
I await posts from enraged Redcarians ? and Teessiders :o
We need a nice techy person to record it and pop it on youtube for us offcumdens.
Recorded it from last Friday, just watched it this morning, great stuff. The aerial shots of the ascents were amazing, and I agree with Brummy John it was good to see the leaders walking a bit, they are only human after all.
Its the first time I've seen any footage of 3 peaks were the shots do the course justice. I'd love to see more footage of this, there must be loads left back in the editting room.
Just for your info, I contacted the makers of Northern Skies to see if there was any chance of more extensive shots of the PPP.
"As far as I am aware, the DVD release of Northern Skies 3 will include footage exactly as shown on TV without any extras,
Yours sincerely,
Dan Vickers
Quantum Leap Group Ltd."
It's only on the Northern Skies DVD and they didn't say whether there was any intention to produce a PPP DVD - looks unlikely!
cheers WP
