Re: Rombalds Stride - LDWA
I was thinking of doing this again as I have not done the new route.
Wrong thread maybe but is anyone interested in a recce on 29 or 30 Dec?
Re: Rombalds Stride - LDWA
I'll be up for this, don't think I'll have chance to attend a recce, hopefully I've done it enough times not to get lost on the moor now

New route is an improvement, more time on the moor and that grinding loop of the chevin after the steep climb has gone :D Distance about the same, 22ish
Re: Rombalds Stride - LDWA
My entry's in for the 10th consecutive year. I wouldn't miss this one for anything. Last year's conditions were the best ever (apart from the slippy-slidy black ice on the lane into Menston).

I had a magical day last year with several clubmates in the snow but you're right about the icy lane into Menston

Not sure I'll make it onto the start line, but the prospect of being out and about on the course to provide "encouragement" is quite appealing. ;)

Having been on the receiving end of some of your 'encouragement' recently I'm not sure appealing is the word I'd use :p:D

Appealing for me of course.
Perhaps you had better have me standing by for your bad patch on your BG. ;)
I'll ask Joss to give me some Naylor Shake lessons. ;)
