I enjoyed that as always.
I'd be interested to know what everyone things of the new route from Houndkirk Hill. I liked it, a better end to the race than that boring plunge straight to the road.
I think I'd have preferred it if we'd still gone to Over Owler Tor though - the clocked distance on my (possibly inaccurate) Garmin was still less than 9 miles.
I also liked the end bit, particularly the drop to the stone bridge and the traverse from there to the main track....
I got 14.3km on my GPS (although I did take a straight line from the stone trough to the corner of the outdoor centre, cutting a bit of distance compared with the path) so 9 miles sounds about right.
Glad you liked the ending chaps as it was my idea. Now we have access to the farmers field that cuts out most of Hathersage Road it made no sense running half a mile along Sheephill Rd to get to it.
An excellent race, thoroughly enjoyable and very well organised. I wished I'd picked a better line or two in places and not slipped quite as much. More trod practice before next years me thinks. Echo the thoughts about piccies, seemed like a good number of cameras out there. :)
I've uploaded some photo's from the race here:

Some awesome pics there NickH - I particularly appreciate the one where I appear to be in freefall... (odd camera angle!)
Cheers Nick - some excellent photos there, and I'm glad you didn't get me on the second lot as I think that's pretty much where I blew up!
