I actually found it got better after the climb up Great Gable TB - the terrain got a 'bit' better! The last climb up Dalehead is quite nice really! good underfoot - no bogs and bolder hoping

and yes.......I'll be the slowcoach whinging at the back!!!:o

After a an appallingly poor attempt at Langdale I'll be giving the recce a miss, seems I need to get fit.

The recce won't be fast Graeme - I'm more than sure you'll be able to keep up with ME!!

If I can haul myself round 17 miles - you'll be fine, honest!:D

This looks like a fun event eh? I could well be tempted to pop along on June 23rd. Presume the finer details will be discussed nearer the time?

Is anyone up for camping the night (friday) before the reccie on the 23rd.
