That's the beauty of 'west coast living'! :p
Still loads here, Stunning day lots of sunshine. I've been for a run this morning, not the one I'd planned but good enough, the back of the golf course which is about 400m from my house it was still thigh deep in places. Lots of cross country tracks about and the snow is still fresh , no crust and no slush, more tommorrow apparently:D
Had a mate staying up here in Sheffield for long weekend. He's a supply teacher and had several weeks work booked starting Tuesday so left Monday morning.
It took him just over 2 hrs on the train to London, 2 hrs 20 mins to get from London station to home.
He got up the next morning, found his local station shut and a note pinned to office door "NO TRAINS - THANKS" so phoned the school to say he'd be late. No reply so he phoned the agency. They said sorry all schools are closed didn't you know?
He went home.
One of today's papers had the headline "TEACHERS NEED TO SHOW MORE GRIT"
More snow forecast for the next day or so.
They should be so lucky!

It's cold out side, the clouds look heavy and.....
ITS SNOWING
Great conditions here. Over two feet of snow! (well both of my feet were covered in snow!:))
Just back from an hours run in perfect conditions - felt like 3 hours of effort ploughing through the snow. Doubt if I can drive into work as the village is cut-off by the snow. Looking forward to another long run later today.:)
