Never mind the technical bits... WHAT COLOUR??? :D
Just done a hour in the woods.
Averaged 6.1mph got shiten up and had great fun.:)
PS
I was on the old mountain bike (not my road bike):o
Nice looking machine Al  You'd get a great mountainbike for same money! ;):p
Just had a re-count Al, rear cassette is 11-31 and front is 42-52:rolleyes:
I know you need big back and small front for up's and the opposite for down's but I don't know how mine compare.
Doesn't mean a lot to me, perhaps the big boys can shed some light on it?
had a fixed wheel bike made up for £200 best pedleiron av ever ad would recomend to any one. harder work out maybe but no fancy bits to look after.
Another 8m on mountain bike with Mrs Stagger and friends.
I think I am becoming obsessed with this cycling lark:eek:
40miles steady for me today
Met a roadman last night who raced against Simpson.
And he casually told me he did the LEJOG in winter in 5 days:eek:
Cavendish outsprinted by Pettachi yesterday. He just couldnt get back that few metres.
Armstrong looked very strong on the front for a while.
The Giro looks like being a good battle this year.
I'm selling my bike
Calling all bib-short wearing men..........
I have no idea what size to go for.
Im a 31" waist but since clothes come in even numbers im sure i could squeeze into a 30 since i guess they are stretchy?, failing that a 32.
But i have an issue with getting the height right.....im 5'11 ish but if i was to buy the bib-shorts for my height i'd end up with a massive waist surely......can anybody point me in the right direction of what size i should get.....please!

Those are the ones im after.
Go to a shop and try some different pairs on. I found some more comfortable than others.
Try them on Al, if they aren't right they will just cheese you off! I take size 5. You will be either 5 or 4.
Forget doping....this is the way forward.......might damage your bike though.

Err i shaved my legs last night whilst watching The GIRO
Just thought id let the lady forumites have that thought in there heads
Ive found the highlights on youtube....but the commentators are foreign
I always watch every part of the race
I sky plus it and watch it late evening.
Basso looked comfortable yesterdayand to be fair there was hardly any attacks on the climb at the end. They were just taking it steady.
Im going to put my neck out and say Basso will win.
Just checked out VELO NEWS
Lance just finished 2.58 down on the leaders today. He will have found no friends down there in this race.
Not saying he is a spent force but i did say I am surprised he has come back.
To be fair he hasnt had the best build up yet he can still hold his own in the peloton. He may yet may ride his self into the race ( get better) and go for stage wins but his real goal will be the tour now.

15 wet miles after work on road bike, riding on anger:mad:
Shoulda timed it really cos its probably the fastest 15 miles i've ever done:D
Did 15m this evening, 7 in sunshine and 8 in a flash flood, lightening and thunder.:o
Came back like a drowned rat:eek:
Watched 'Seasons' mtb DVD this evening with my brother. Fantastic scenery, riding & photography:)
A quick 52 miles in the Ribble Valley this morning with 3 others and they made me go on the front. Over 2 weeks lying on a beach made it quite a challenging ride
Love this man's attitude:cool:
