just got back in from 6.5 miles over hobson moor im very very very wet
Back from holiday. Cumbria I love you. - 7 miles steady away- legs felt rubbish after 4 days off (not what I intended but was just too busy to get a run in most days).
my leg of the derwent valley orienteering relays
nearly 14miles from youlgrave to crowdicote then to hartington over the fields and hills
pissed down all day :)
A slowish 13 miles (2 hours) with 1 big climb in the middle (1,100ft) mostly trails and fell. ran it all the way. Bad stomach cramps near the end though. Very wet up there!
You think thats slow, took me and hopey, well mainly me slowing hoepy down 2.5 hours to run 13 miles, heavy going underfoot though ;) Possibly soemthing to do with the run yesterday too.
Bone and I did 90 minutes on the moors. Stayed dry as well!!!!!
Not the fastest, but I enjoyed my 11.75 on the moors. 135 minutes it took but what a grand run. Crossed the M62 twice, once by J22 then down by Hollingworth lake, but the good thing was within 200 yards you would'nt know it was there. 2200ft of ascent acording to the Garmin and never felt a drop of rain.:)
after yesterdays tough relay
7 miles very very steady , my legs only just got me back
crap conditions , very windy and bright sunshine
when are we going to get some decent running weather:(
Skiddaw race 9m
All was well on the way up - walked a fair bit- think I couldve ran more but it's hard to resume running once you've walked a while.
All went wrong on descent (as usual). Lost about 4places on way down skiddaw due to being too careful. Then another few on descent around Latrigg due to my feet hurting so much. Blister under each big toe, one heel blistered and two very tender heel pads. I dont think I'm gonna be able to use Walshes, they seem too soft (although this race featured quite hard, rocky ground most of the way, I'm sure boggy, grassy ground would be better).
