Tom word of advice from an old/XXl one that may god willing point you in the right direction, poor old Merry is not what he was, but still has a sting in his tail that may just bite you! me alas have never been there to begin with, but i read with great enthusiasm your posts;)
But i feel you are laying down gauntlets that will be picked up by somebody! i have always found that somebody picks up the gauntlet, no matter what in life there is somebody, to put you down, have a go, slag you off, take the pi$$, and just be down right negative.
May i suggest you take the positive approach, and ask not who,how,when, where, you can beat, but who, how,when, where, you can help another to achieve there goal ;)

Wildlife indeed, you missed one though, you will have seen the lesser spotted one whom originates from Hartlepool (hence wildlife) the one you missed was a posh one from West Monkseaton (Whitley bay really).
Ossy oiks was for speed merchants lot of hard stuff underfoot.

Heading over to Lakes Monday or Tuesday to recce leg 4, just shot two days hol in as I need a bit of fresh air, come on ML you know it makes sense, anyone else up for it.

Bg relay list is all in my head, not actually been organised and put it onto paper yet.
Booked into Keswick though for 17th/18th July....... :)

Alas, I can't make it... can't get the time off the week after the Tour de Galles... :(

On top of that, the Welsh will let me race the Welsh women's RR champs... so I will be on for that the Sunday...:eek:

I have a new system:
lumo-green for when the family are spectating to help them spot me more easily
black/white for sans famille

but don't know if family will be coming to Trog, so er... dunno! :o

enjoyed Castleton last night - just my fave sort of course with very little flat :)
