Short eared owl near Dovestones Resser during the New Chew.
Quite a few curlew about in the dale now but only seen two oystercatchers over the weekend. Heard a green woodpecker yaffling today

There were lots of oystercatchers along the Ure this week. Good to see and hear curlews again too.
A white stoat throws shapes in the snow of the Swabian Alps in German. Amateur photographer Rolf Mueller captured the display of agility. Retired Mercedes worker Mr Mueller, who lives near Stuttgart, said: "It was really difficult to photograph the stoat as it was in motion all the time. They are really fast. They jump back and forth and suddenly stop. You have to be lucky and patient to get a perfect shot."

A Badger yesterday (not Daz's dog.) I don't think I would have seen it if I hadn't had me new lenser h14 on, saw a pair of eyes and then zoomed in.
Near the start of the Longdendale trail, Hadfield end.
Solitary curlew over Warland Rservoir this morning and heard plenty of larks singing above Langfield Common.
