Re: Wuthering Hike-Haworth Hob
Yep, cheers Brett. I feel sorry for the marshalls at the later checkpoints - those at the last one will still be there
Met Merrylegs on the way round and after a long, non-competitive tussle ended up finishing together.
Hmm, I've got an evening out as well - just hope that the beer doesn't send me to sleep too soon! :o

Merry, I'll pass on your regards to my mate Russ later in the pub! We both enjoyed running with you and Bob too. Good to see so many forumites - a grand day out!

5700ft, no wonder it felt so hard, I hope I never see another cobble
Tough event mainly I think because so much is runnable. I don't know what happened to Marvin but he set a blistering pace with Daz after that last big climb from the final checkpoint, well run both of you It was good to have your company for the last three hours.
I think every one has mentioned me who I saw plus YDT. Merry we'll have to have a longer chat next time. I mentioned Adrian to a few guys and he beat me again! White hair V60!
Thanks to the marshalls again. good effort.
Re: Wuthering Hike-Haworth Hob

a good event , thanks to the marshalls , sunnyside and millipede it was nice to see you
my legs ache after that, prob not a good idea running it in my knackered trail shoes that have done abot 1000miles:eek:
a good run with marvin and spent lots of the route with Ian Dark Peak who didnt seem to be singing this time round:).
a little bit more tarmac than my legs have recently been used to of late and thats perhaps why i ache a bit.
well done to the other pennine runners.
loved the bit going up to stoodley pike

I did more. I took an interesting diversion through Todmorden, including a brief visit to the street market. :D
Also took the long way round Penistone Hill.
Still I've now got an excuse for my slow time.
