Hi Folks,
Kind of looking forward to this tomorrow. Trying to decide which trainers to wear (a) if it's wet; (b) if it's dry. There's only a choice of two (unless I rush out to buy some more!): Inov8 Roclite 315s or Asics Nimbus road trainers.
Last time I did it (in the dry) in road trainers. I was going to wear the Inov8s this time around but know they can be very slippery on wet rock. Road trainers might be even worse though!?!? Any thoughts?
Inov8s. Road shoes have worse grip if its wet
Hi
Does anyone know if there will be a secure baggage area tomorrow?
Cheers
Nothing on the website Glenn. How many east Cheshire lads are going
If it's dry I may go for the mizuno wave harriers, if wet full on fell shoe. I never rated the roclites on wet rock but this was when they first came out, may have changed. I wear road shoes for training runs up Snowdon but would opt for a fell shoe. I'll take my road shoes along just in case but can't see me opting for them..
Only two East Cheshire(and one ex ECH if you include Andi) running this year.
First time running this for me...looking forward to it in a weird sort of way.
youll be fine. Even Kevin Duckworth could do this lol :D.
Ha.... Kev on Tues.
He's doing Race the train again this year.
Sorry, that should say 'Kev raced on Tues'
I've seen him race! Well jog then winge a lot :D
But come to that Wharfey, when did you last race, rather than point a camera at folk? :p
yeah your as bad as us
News just in... Roadrunner takes 4th win in a row.
Hey, well done Roadie. Shows some remarkable consistency. Any news of Iain R, Floater and all the other forumites yet?
Anybody know anything about the guy they were giving CPR to? It wasn't looking good as they were still working on him when I was on the way down 20mins(?) later. Helecoper was there but they must have been struggling. Hope Welsh Harrier is ok too, saw him wrapped in a space blanket, must have taken a tumble on the way down. Seemed to be a lot of casulties today, saw two guys who had been evac'ed by train, one had his face smashed up. Hope everybody is ok and recover quickly.
Aah im glad i thought you were talking like a Ricky hatton situation. How is Phils leg. I was suprised he didnt end up in Llandudno :D
TV coverage on S4C Sky 134 at 8pm tomorrow evening.
Well done Andi and the GB lads, good team effort. (all 4 in top 6)
aah ok. Any news on IainR

Select Snowdon Mountain Race
Definitely preferred coming down!!
Firstly congratulations Andi on winning for a fourth time and anothe rtop performance today.
I spoke to Welsh Harrier before he was taken by ambulance to hospital think he took a big tumble - Looks like he had fractured his collar bone or broken his arm as well as damaging his back. Hope Fleeters dad and Alphin are okay.
A great race again today, but some of the walkers 'clowns' walking the route could of had a bit more sense after passing Clogwyn and going through the bridge one woman walked straight out in front of Ian holmes forcing hm to stop momentarily.
On the whole thought the spectators did a great job today looked like tough conditions heading up to the summit once the runners passed Clogwyn must of made it difficult for the helicopter to locate the lead runners.
Fleeter seemed to be going well as was Jodg today.
Wished I had been okay to race today. Did manage 6 mile up and down taking pics.
I hope no one too injured .
Well done to every one today .
I'm not injured but am in alot of pain . I feel beer and wine are the only things that can help me now
Regards
John
