Hmmm. What sort of ale will it be tonight? I will be out on the tiles so maybe a white wine spritzer instead?
Taking the lad to cricket practice turns out to be a very sociable pastime, 3 pints of Draught Strongbow...............no bloody Guinness though:(
Have you all gone teetotal??
Butty Bach in Tesco today. Most excellent!
Quite a few real ales have turned up this morning for fathers day. A couple of nice Asphal ciders as well.
A case of 12 White Wych, £12.00 from Booths.
Not all at once of course...........;)
Think I'll go back to the real ale - thought these 70cl bottles of JD would last longer than 1 evening
spent yesterday afternoon and early eveing supping some nice dent dale ales, 9Georgs and Dragon)
appartently we caused quite a stir as we(no names mentioned) were spwarled out over 3 tables, we arrived at 4.30pm after a shortish 5 hour walk)..
as the pub started to get a bit busy(7.00pm) a few posher well kept people were wanting to sit where we and our little furry friends were( 4 Dogs ) , needless to say myself and someone else having drunk most of the beer at that er bar, struggled to comprehend why we should move.. properbly cos i couldn't understand anything at all
fog in the meantime had a rather nice discussion with the unfriendly posh people wishing to sit on my knee
I don't remember a fringing thing about it cos i was Rat arsed...
Did i have 5 beers or 8 not sure!!
all i remember is been dragged out'a pub by two dogs...
then going to bed at 8.37pm and waking at 9.05am,

I hope you had the cheapest lager possible as you've sullied the taste of it?? Not worth wasting good lager if your going to contaminate it!
A bottle fo Leffe Brun with my chips... ohhh the taste of Belgium :)
Last night's actually..........
2 bottles of Daleside Blonde.
Veeeery smooooth. ;)
Various half-pints (well only 7) at the Abbey Inn (Newlay, Leeds) beer and music festival - including Daleside Special, Leeds Brewery Yorker & Sloe Beer (Festival special), Great Heck Porter, Marble Brewery Ginger Marble & the wonderful Sharps Doom Bar (first time I've seen it on tap in Leeds):).
The music wasnt bad either!!!
I'm tapering, so just a few Carlsberg for me.
Couple of OP's before bed (night shift). Hope they wear off before my run at noon..........
First wetherspoons curry for a few months - washed down with Daleside Special, York Brewery guzzler, then a short stroll to Leeds CAMRA's pub of the year 2008/09 'Mr Foley's' for a pint of Summer Wine Brewery Koala Lamper:D
Home alone so off out for some Golden Sheep at the local, don't tell the Mrs;)
2 pints of Golden Sheep, 4 pints of Strongbow, its ok, the Mrs. knows were i've been, dam those electronic ankle tags:mad:
A couple of pints from a brewery I'd not come across before in the Sparrowhawk last night: Bank Top's Blonde. Very nice.
I give up!
Titanic - Captain Smiths....
Just don't blame me if you all crash tomorrow... ;)
A pint of Rye Smile followed by a bottle of Bluebird at home.
and next up.. a Badgers Fursty Ferret....
For the UNIX techie's amongst us, I should now be wearing the classic t-shirt, "Don't drink and be root"...
Lost me Dom, I'm afraid. Now on the Brakspeare Triple. Along with Golden Pippin, my most favouritest beer.:D
Aspall classic organic cider weighing in at a moderate 7% - considerably smoother that the homes made variety.
Kin Strongbow for me, cheap at cricket club, even cheaper at local co-op!!!
Me head will urt in the morning when i christen the ss mtb:eek:
Was gonna resist until popping down to the Rodley beer & music festival tomorrow but resistance was futile so opened a bottle of fine Manchester beer - JW Lees' John Willies premium bitter.
I've just bought a random selection of stuff from Tesco. Tasting notes to follow... :)
