When I think back years ago to how many miles a week in winter I would clock up its unreal
But I do really find it hard to fit both running and cycling in .
Time is the bloody problem with the roadbike.

I too need a kick up the butt to get me out on the bike.:o
May be in the Christmas Hols.
Ernie (forum dog) and myself have been out jogging in the woods every day since he arrived.
Knees are starting getting used to the training so hopefully the bike will be next:)
Went on the Velodrome tonight for the first time - what a buzz. Can't wait to go back. A bit strange not to get rained on though.
An early and dark start for a brisk 50 miles round the Ribble valley with 2 other riders. All was going well until a few miles past Chipping as me and speedy Stan were on the front pushing hard and just as we came out of a shallow left hander - wallop, bang, slide, ouch mi fingers (again!!). At a more cautious pace just 1 mile up the road down went Stan on a straight section - pesky black ice. I am currently wondering whether to go to A&E (or the shed) to cut my ring off as my finger looks like a plump sausage being squeezed by a band of gold at the base...............
