Shelf moor race report. Apologies for the length, I kind of got in the groove and didnt realise that I'd written that much.
The race is long enough to remember most things, not like a massive trog, and not short enough for a concise story.
Damn good race though.

Great blog (again) Zephr (one of your best me thinks). I guess, also, one of the few where you did not have anyone +/- 30 secs in the finishing few minutes to worry about? You've improved so much this summer - well done - what you need now is a gentle recovery before the autumn - how about the 150m at the Padfield Plum Fair Coal Race this coming weekend. Thanks OB1. Looking back on it, the first race I did up here was herod farm, Jules was 11th I think, I was 26th. This time he was 9th and I was 12th. Certainly going in the right direction. As for a recovery run, I believe I already did that. It was the walk from the car to the pub to join you and Carl!

and for the record, I was smiling for the 200ths of a second that the pictures were taken, the rest of the time I was a panting, sweaty, hill climbing mess.
