My point I was making is not that they're similar to Europe. It's that the states themselves are very disparate in their economies, taxation, wealth, etc. Yet they manage under one currency.
But anyway this is probably a tangent of a tangent. So back to the thread topic. How do people rate the "independent group's" chances in the longer term. Will their numbers swell? Will they all be ousted at the next election? Will they spur their parties to alter their course and take them back in, or have they burned their political bridges?
Interesting to watch.

The difference is this is normal behaviour for militant left, an entire section of current labour membership, which rears its head in most of the constituency parties ( just as it did in the seventies ). Louise Ellmanns constituency voted that all the attacks on Berger were an invented smear against Corbyn! Jennie Formby was part of militant. Militant right agression or racism are simply not permitted in the conservative party. Thankfully Tommy Robinson is not permitted anywhere now!Quote:
