I can hardly contain my excitement, for tonight the most underrated rock band of the 70's UFO are appearing at Warrington Parr Hall.....get in!!
Hi Andrew, I can't really concentrate at the moment my ears are buzzing so much. First saw UFO over 25years ago and two orginal members remain, Phil Mogg and Andy Parker. These guys can still produce the goods and Vinnie Moore is a more than capable Schenker replacement. They played all the classics from the Schenker era and a few from 2012's Seven Deadly. Among the classics were Shoot shoot, Let it roll, Doctor doctor, Lights out, Rock bottom etc really getting the nearly packed Parr Hall going. This is sad of me but I couldn't help thinking Phil Mogg would of made a brilliant fell runner, he must be 9 stone maximum and the way he can still move was pretty impressive. Good night indeed.... All the best to you and Stef on your big day, take care.
Second series of the Vikings is under way. The body count is still high and the Brits haven't won a battle yet

80s "guitar hero" type instrumental track - they don't make 'em like this anymore!

Thanks Daz, maybe Node can stop Fever Ray taking over the world ;)
Aside from the title track, the background/incidental music in Vikings is suitably atmospheric ~ season one composed by Trevor Morris, season 2 also working with Viking/Folk/Metal band Wardruna.

Brilliant track from their stunning new album.
They've lost there way imo - seems all about the radio play, big stage and cash with the middle of the road instantly forgettable stuff they put out now. Much the same as what happened with Kings of leon. Dan should stick to writing music like this.......

Great band, definitely folk and not metal. Think they have one album left to release before they call it a day. First album is the best imo, blew me away the first time I heard it.
