Ooh, controversial ! My first Black Keys purchase was Thickfreakness, which is excellent. I have loved all subsequent albums & the way they have evolved. I think I'm just a massive fan of Danger Mouse's production too. Go on, give it another spin !

1. What a staggering body of work.
2. Neil being Neil he speaks most about his "unpopular " records eg Greendale.
3. He becomes more articulate the longer the interview rolls and right at the end he says "audiences get sick of being pleased, you have to challenge them".
And since, apart from Dylan, he has probably had the longest, most high profile, successful career of any rock artist: maybe he's right?
