Aztec Camera - The bugle sounds again
Further to my post elsewhere, I have very poor wifi signal, so I struggle to stream spotify generally.
But I have recently discovered a musical group called "Submotion Orchestra"
Wikipedia says... "Submotion Orchestra are a seven piece band formed in 2009 in Leeds, UK. They are influenced by dubstep, soul, ambient electronica, jazz and dub. Formed in Leeds in 2009, their debut EP Finest Hour was released on Ranking Records"
It's delightful to listen to. Very mellow electronic music, with real instruments played, especially a good old bit of trumpet, with a perfect partnership of mellow beats and sounds. LOVE IT.
Peace out.
Shlong.

I'm getting a bit tired of hearing this on the radio and it's refreshing to hear a stripped-back live version.

Should be watched by everyone on Earth, at least once a month. Look out for Allen Ginsberg loitering on the left.
Lee Morgan, Sidewinder! Another jazz trumpeter lost to Charlie.
Enjoyed the SLF version of green fields off france
The Men They Couldn't Hang do a great version of it. Written by Eric Bogle I believe.

such a moving song, and one that deserves to be sung with a bit of passion and perhaps a bit of a rough edge
Just watched first episode of Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways. Can't wait to watch the rest. First two episodes expire on BBC iPlayer tomorrow.
Back to my youth!

Off to Manchester shortly for Half man half biscuit at the Ritz. Any band with song titles like Lord Herefords nob, Descent of the Stiperstones..... must be fell walkers. This band just keep getting better, I can't wait.
