Re: BG Attempt 17/18th May 201
Cracking day out with Markmc, over Leg 2 in the sunshine today. Great to see all that snow has gone, you can actually run at last! Decent pace too 3:46 for the leg , but never felt we we're pushing it. I guess all those days slogging through the white stuff are paying off!
Re: BG Attempt 17/18th May 201
ace day for me too
picked up Leg 3 at Esk Hause, and did as far as Brandreth on Leg 4 before dropping down Sour Milk Gill to Borrowdale
Lord's Rake was still choc-a with snow (so did Foxes Tarn instead) but mostly clear everywhere else
hit/exceeded all splits without feeling like I was over-cooking it, so v.pleased

Sounds like a good day out Bill. 3:46 is some going - I hope we will be a bit slower next weekend!

Yes cracking day out Bill and as you said it never felt that we were pushing it at all, even into a strong head wind for much of the leg. Feeling good now and cannot wait untill the 17th May
