Just received a pair of the Mk2 yesterday and will give them a quick test at lunch. Nothing too taxing as have Ben Nevis tomorrow. I weighed mine as they felt a bit heavy but I'm a size 11.5 and they weighed in at 400g exactly the same as my Crosslites and only 10g heavier than my XC's. Only a tiny bit heavier than Mudclaw 270 too and feel just as flexible as the others really. I'm hoping they'll stand up to the rigours of Skye.

I've done over 250 mile in my MK 2's and have to say they look almost as good as new!
If I have a criticism with them it is the fact that they don't hold my foot whilst cross contouring which can be uncomfortable. I did the last 15 mile of the SBU35 in them last weekend and they were great.

Saw a few pairs at Ben Nevis yesterday. They were down before me but that doesn't say much!
