:D just got my entry back, #100.
Its my first race in Wales, in an area that holds lots of good memories for me,
I'm really looking forward to this. Off to Wales this weekend so going to have a quick recce tomorrow - if it isn't too hot!
It's going to be WELL hot this weekend. Hope it's a bit cooler for next weekend.....
Are you going to do the Saddleworth Fell race the day after Ria???
Think I'm doing the Ilkley fell race on the Sunday Tom. It was good last year.
Does any one know if you can enter on the day ? I've emailed the organisers but as yet haven't had a reply.
Just answered my own question. Had a look in the WFRA diary and saw £7 in advance or £10 on the day.
Well, what a shitty weekend. My attempt to conquer Cader has been dealt a blow as I cracked my toe yesterday morning by kicking a door, don't ask!!!
All the best to all of you that's taking part.

Hi nightingale - did this last year and it was a really hot day - luckily had some water on the summit from some walkers - it's a great race - my legs were so heavy on the last few miles - transition from mountain to road was a killer...lead legs! then the heat didnt help - got over the finishing line - collapsed but the free mars bars perked me up :-)
there's a river next to the main car park and i just sat in that afterwards - cold initially but bliss :-)
see you there
Dylan
