Probably see you Saturday Steve. I have a bag of about twenty jelly babies. I'll give one to each runner and you're challenge is to get one!

Steve, leave one of Ady's crumbs for me please.
Sportsunday are putting themselves about a bit recently. I've almost lost count of the times they've snapped me since last December on the Tour de Helvellyn. I'm not complaining though. ;)
How many forum people will be at the Hobblihike on Saturday?
Just interested :)
Do you reckon Scotney will get a new CR Brett????
Does he know where he is going?
I'm not saying it's a hard race, but...
I've already booked an appointment with my GP for him to look at my injuries. 8:55 on Wednesday.
I'll be there as long as Brett picks me up...
I am not he.
However, as events scuppered all my efforts to get out and reconnoitre any part of this route I shall be wholly reliant on your course notes and, ahem, possibly trying to follow a few of you. A risky practice as I know only too well from previous races:w00t:
I'll be there myself at strategically placed spots offering words of encouragement/abuse and possibly water and sweeties. :w00t:
i reckon its gonna be relatively dry. i might even wear road shoes!
i cant remember, what rough proportion of this is road to offroad?
is it the same route as last yr?
anyone got any links to maps (like 'Map My Run/Ride' sort of thing) I can brush up on.
i was lucky enough to go sub 5 and top 25 last yr, and will give my right leg to repeat that again. good luck every one
I'll be there, somewhere near the back no doubt! Well, I'll be there as long as the wind drops a bit, it got so cold it actually hurt my face at work today.
Well, it's still windy up on the moors, but not as bad as yesterday. Sunny as well. Could be nice for tomorrow, although someone mentioned snow...
Just a thought - how much is it to park all day in that Sun Street car park?
Is there no parking at the school like last year, with the gorgeous Antisally directing operations?
I Googled this earlier on. Th'interweb says: £4 for all day in the Weavers Hill car park (which I assume is the Sun St one), but only £1-50 in the Gas St car park. That's somewhere just past the station as you approach from Keighley/Halifax, near the bottom of Mill Hay.
for someone looking for a route, I found one on map my run..google wuthering hike route :)
Cheers for the car park advice. I've just counted up all my small change, got just about enough.
Please help!
I've changed plans at last minute and have managed to get a place. I have a map, the instructions and highlighters.
I can't mark the route from the instructions. Is there a diagram or map of the route anywhere I can use?
I should be on the road by now, I still have to pack and am getting really frustrated :o
