Anyone seen biscuit head and the biscuit badgers? They played my local the other week, the most bizarre thing I've seen for some time, they had the place loving it by time they'd finished :)

Mmmh! Thinking of your taste in music DT I only recently learned that Jim Reeves was flying the plane that crashed and killed himself and his manager in 1964 (although he was not flying upside down as is sometimes asserted). Odd what passes you by at the time.
And what have I been reading lately? The Colonel (ie Tom Parker) by Alanna Nash. I picked this up in the USA and feared it would be schlocky but the forensic detail on the money is fascinating. Mr Parker was receiving a greater % than Elvis on some products yet he died effectively in debt to a Las Vegas casino. And the Elvis estate was almost bankrupt although EP earned over $200 million in his lifetime.
So my advice DT is lay off the hamburgers or you will end up broke... and fat.:D

Bobby Keys RIP
Any good stories to relate re the sadly now departed saxophone colossus Graham B?
Cheers Daz, classic Slayer. I remember buying Show no mercy back in the mid 80's. It drove my parents mad with constant shouts of, "turn that rubbish down". Funnily it now has the same reaction from my wife but rubbish is often replaced with expletives.
while we're on upside-down pentagrams, and for the avoidance of doubt:

Not sure how many Elton John fans there are on here, good to see they have had the decency to avoid any potential clash with the Mid Lancs cross country at the Show Ground
Last night I heard a few of the top tracks from Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Had a right good sing song with the dog.
Oasis - Wonderwall
Just giving Black Sabbath's Sabotage a blast, such a powerful album, love it.
went to see Gogol Bordello in Sheffield tonight. My 2nd fave band (1st fave that still exists) and they tear it up.
They started with a song off their most recent album, which was quite well received. They then dropped this and the whole place went bonkers.
