Did a recce for Roaches Race on Nov 8th. Going to Edale tomorow to do a recce for the Skyline even though I know the area well going to stat there to do the Rab mm on Sunday. Do you ever get the feeling your doing too much.

31 miles, in 5h 58mins. From Ledbury to Bromsberrow, the entire length of the Malverns (although not over any peaks) then Mathon, Wellington Heath, Eastnor Ledbury, about 85 - 90 percent off road, tracks, footpaths, fell type bits and good old Herefordshire fields.
That's the longest I've ever run and the peak long run in my prep for the Brecons Ultra.
Felt pretty flat for the last 6 miles and had a mental battle with lactic acid, But feel surprisingly good now, albeit very tired. :D
A Cheeky 10.5 Over Black hill from wessenden head, along Laddow, up the chew path then across Laddow moss to the Trig at the head of Green Grai... & Back in a portly 2:18.
Why do people bring their dogs to the middle of a huge peat moor and let them cr*p on the stone path?

My auntie just text me to say that she can see a massive fire from her bedroom windom so i got my bike out and did a 1 mile down hill time trial to find the fire....and then a 1 mile uphill time trial back home again.
Jeez my legs are burning now.:D
about 14 miles 1850ft, not as far as I'd planned to go but the sky decided to fall on me in a liquid form of biblical proportions. Full water proof kit on and still soaked.

Did some training today, got very wet. Am dry now.
10 mile hilly road around 1400ft at pace big squall came through and got wet, again!!
12 miles, up at 5.55, out the door at 6.15, reasonable pace for morning, nice and hilly.
