Did 10 miles down the trans pennie trail and back down the canal today,Nice and muddy :) but very flat :( did the same on monday to losen the legs from Clywydian.Resting now for Rhobell Fawr on Saturday.

I woke up this morning on what was suppose to be a rest day of sorts. glorious weather sunshine, no wind, cool. :)
Can't waste this I thought, A quick recce up Bleaklow so off I went at 7.45 am
at 8.15 in Torside carpark I got out of the car not forgetting to turn off my fog lights and put on my water proof to keep out the damp 10m vis from the swirling clag and drizzle:mad:
A slow trot up and over as far as Hernclough and back via a slightly different route checking bearings etc.
Picked up my food stashe from last years TT. :eek: all still edible;)
8.5 miles 1250ft
3m to work, 8m/1656ft home, wet, muddy and Hank Marvin now;)
half marathon on a treadmill at college with 2% gradient.
Really good fun

4 mile in fog with fireworks in the air but none visable.
Opp knee OK other knee now feels sore:o
Just biked or run 13 days in a row (only steady though) perhaps I need a rest day:cool:

6 or 7 miles at lunchtime round Alderley Edge with three runners all faster than me. Loads of mud, plenty of climbs on the edge. Best training run for ages.

I'd like to say we had a quick spin around next weeks DP Champs course but it was rough, steep, boggy over wild terrain with loads of route choice. very tough course.

Good arrows Tom. You have a lot of support here. Building self confidence isn't a quick process, taking someones confidence is soon done. You be true to yourself. Keep on keeping on.
c 25ml /5000ft steady away in Dales with Stef F yesterday based on Walden LDWA route. Great Whernside (climb from race), Little Whernside, Scar House Res, Braidley, Buckden Pike, Starbottom and back to Kettlewell on Dales Way. A brilliant day out in good company! :cool:
Crowden to Torside Clough, Dog Rock, Dowstone Clough, Hernstones, Shelf to find the Superfortress, Bleaklow Head, Far Moss Wildboar Clough to Crowden. For no particular reason!
