Glow worms lots of them on last nights "night walk" with a kids group down south
A Buzzard gave me some grief today when I was out for a walk in the Howgills. It was on Castley Knotts so I am assuming its the same one that had a peck at me last year? It didn't give me quite the same attention as last year though so it might be mellowing a bit :D
Red squirrel at Bampton on our way to Mardale today. First one I've seen for ages.

Whilst I've been in the Capital for the Olympic cycling events, it seems that there's more wildlife photography opportunites in London than there is in the Yorkshire Dales.
Young Buzzard in the woods on the far end of Otley Chevin the other night. Never seen one there before and was a little difficult to be sure in the gloom but it was a fair size with a fanned tail rather than split like a kite, and similar colouring to a buzzard so that's what I narrowed it down to.
Fulmar, Shag, Oyster Catcher, Herring Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Great Black-backed Gull, Kittiwake , Tern, thousands and thousands of Puffin, possibly Guillemot, Gannets, Manx Shearwater, and 100's of Gray Seals
