Time for something seasonal.
You wouldn't find too many Nobel prize winners doing this. Still, one is surely sufficient.
I do wonder if this one passed by the Nobel Committee in their final deliberations.
I have been buying Dylan albums and going to his concerts loyally and even
devotedly since I was in the VIth form and he has tested my loyalty along the way many times until his Christmas Album finally proved that every man has his breaking point. :)

That bloke could sing
The 50s and 60s Christmas music show on R2 was a good program culminating in the incomparable Nat Cole. Merry Cristmas Luv Shack!

Listening to this - One outstanding band that can't seem to agree on reforming what a pity.

Wow! That takes me back, what a classic from my youth.
Not quite a classic (yet) but I had a rubbish day at work on Friday and driving home 6 Music played this and it shook me out of my malaise

I heard that too Mossy. Utter indie disco classic
Try Anthony Joseph - Carribean roots, the new Gil Scott Heron - remember 'The Revolution will not be televised'
And dance like you've never danced before

https://youtu.be/dnjaevCMj_oI'm ashamed to say I'd never heard this song before tonights drama Come Home with Christopher Eccleston.
This guy is brilliant. A cross between Roy Orbison & Richard Hawley:

Jez I enjoyed that. Could you or anybody else recommend a Richard Hawley album? He seems to be held in high regard by other muscians and I've not had chance to listen to him.
Daletown Runner, for some inexplicable reason I've always disliked Lou Reed's Walk On The Wild Side so have given him a wide berth. Perhaps it's time to get down to the local record shop.
Coles Corner and Ladies Bridge, both classic Hawley, Standing at the Sky's Edge is more electronic, Hollow Meadows back to a more laid back sound. Give him a listen.
