Just a heads up to Nicky Spinks after last weekends BG record to run a top 10 today is top draw running.

A big thanks to borrowdale fell runners,marshalls n helpers, and to everyone that was handing out water jellybabys and encouragement.
wheels fell off climbing dalehead (cramp) but managed to drag myself round and my dodgey knee deccended like a old granny thow, too hot for me!
Cheers Steve. Another year another retirement on top of Gable. Think I'll have to start not letting my heart overule my brain in future for these long races. Haven't been running particulary well all year but still found myself on the start line. Thank you to the summit marshalls on Gable (Howgill harriers) for the escort back to Stonethwaite and then a lift to the finish and thank you to the organisers for sticking around awaiting our arrival - apologies for the late check in- definitely picked up the lantern rouge.Quote:
