Well I don’t know if anyone remembers Harry Enfield’s Kevin, when he transformed into a whining teenage sod on his 13th birthday, but my teenage daughter just turned 15 and incredibly she seems to have transformed back the other way (touch wood)! She doesn’t slob out of the settee for hours/days any more, she grunts less and even speaks from time to time, she’s suddenly taken to eating healthily, has started to take school work seriously and, shock, horror, probe, even goes for the occasional run :eek:

Mind you she still gets through indefinable amounts of money – its like trying to power a steam train by shoveling hard cash into the firebox!

Nowt wrong with teenagers...its just aging adults :D

Ah the good days of being in year 10...So much deication and hope. But then you start to get exams and coursework. Then your attitude goes to CBA

I'm living through the nightmare of a 15 year old boy at the moment. He does all of the above but also utters foul-mouthed rants as well as grunts. He seems to think it socially acceptable to gob on the doorstep as he leaves the house. Rarely washes himself and the debris in his bedroom is approaching calf-height in places. He will soon have to enter by swinging tarzan-like from the light fitting whilst keeping a wary eye out for the predatory beasts that have swiftly evolved from the slime of the dirty dishes and mugs that litter every surface. I pray for the day when he gets a girlfriend to take responsibility for him but doubt whether a female with such poor judgement (or sense of smell) exists.

We had three teenagers; all grew up and left home: Bliss

Now two of the blighters are back home :eek: :(

Should have changed the locks or moved away and not told them....

My mother made sure i didnt step out of line so i would like to consider myself as being a decent teenager. Altough, if i can help it...i dont like to get out of bed once im in there....i have to set all 5 alarms on my phone get to get me up..and i hit the snooze button repeatly - even when im half asleep!


The eating everything in the house seems to be the rule of thumb....someone seems to eat all our food anyway...not sure who though :rolleyes:
