I would definitely recommend Pilates. Check the class is run by a qualified instructor. It's great for stretching, developing flexibility and the promotion of core strength.

I would certainly recommend Pilates. I have a fairly sedentary job and as a result my core used to suffer eventually resulting in a chronic bad back preventing me from even getting out of the car on a daily basis. Began Pilates - just 1 hour a week - and issue solved. Have been doing it about 3 years now and is great for core strenght, flexibility and proprioception.
