Just wanted to capture a bit more of the runner's view of the race as an experiment to supplement our 'spectator's' photos. Trying to compose a photo whilst picking through the boulder-strewn descent off Dalehead is not something I'd recommend to everyone and I think I was actually mid-air when the shutter went on one of the Catbell's photos ... but it was fun (in a loony sort of way) and hopefully it adds a bit more drama to the shot!
I do use a reasonably lightweight camera, however it's the full-size tripod that holds me back! :)
