In case you were wondering why a neighbour had never been invited round to our house - it was because the family was slightly 'different' - pointy head inbreds and not very social.
Whats all the kudos attached to be being seen as social

That would be embarassing, i've got a sick fetish for 80s pop and country and western. But come round anyway, rummage through my drawers, every other man, woman and dog in SW England has.. (this is where i would put winking smiley if only i knew where the chuff they are these days...)

Re: 'timewasting numpties
Anyone had any dealings wtih Persimmon Homes? We looked at a show home on a new build site and loved it but since then we have heard a few horror stories about them so we have backed off
Re: 'timewasting numpties
I'd sooner live in a wendy house than a new build property, the quality is awful beneath the finish and this is confirmed by several mates who work in the building trade. I'd get an older property and renovate if necessary.

Thats what we are planning to do now (Renovate not live in a wendy house). The stories about new build quality and trying to get anyone to sort out the snagging list once they have got your money of you put us right off
