Oo er, missus! Yeah, I'll keep you posted, pal. Got to get Darwen Tri out of the way first.

Ah, right! Nice one.
How did you get on today?
How quick does the 3ppp CX fill up, will I need to be sat over my computer on the 1st July?
I've never been over to the area, let alone run the 3P's, what sort of %age of running to cycling can I expect?
Cheers.
It'd be worth getting your entry in as soon as poss. I seem to remember that it didn't fill quite as quickly last year but why risk it?
Anyway, as to your other question. From the Three Peaks site:
Total distance: 61kms (38 miles)
Road: 28kms (45mins - 1hr 5mins)
Unsurfaced: 33kms (2hrs 15mins - 4hrs 40mins)
Unrideable: 6kms - 8kms (dependent on individual ability & prevailing conditions)
Total climbing: 1524m (5000ft)
It's a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question. I do very little running but then my fastest time is only 4:08. These days it's more about surviving and finishing!
Oh, and if you can manage to get there, a recce on foot would be well worth it. You can't do the route up Ingleborough but you can run the route off. Whernside is definitely worth looking at as you wouldn't want to go into the descent without knowing what was coming up.
Just in case you haven't seen it here's a link to Dave Haygarth's site: http://3pcx.blogspot.com/
and a video I made a couple of years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZWOOVVi89I
I've had a look a your video, it's a fine effort. I'm away for the Bank Hol in a few minutes, I'll check out the other link when I get back.
Thanks.
Next question;
mtb shoes & clipped in or fell shoes?
I seem to remember Holmsey's sole fell off his shoe one year! He still beat the majority of the field.
Damn I want a cross bike!
