fully engulfed by clag, stopping to think about where you are...and realising that there's noone else around for miles. then deciding which way to go, not that it matters. just because you can.
early morning calm and bright runs in spring, when all you can hear is the calling of skylarks and curlews.
Just reading these things are making me go --> :)
Not had much time for running lately, due to huge pressures from just about all other angles, but last weekend I ran out from my own (new) front door straight into the countryside and it was amazing. After 30 *ahem* 27 years of living in the city made me --> :) :) :D (For about 4 minutes, and then I was tortured by my lack of fitness for the next 40 minutes!)
That feeling you get after running up a steep ascent, cresting the top and then scampering down t'other side.......like flying!!

Running across moorland, thats so soft & springy is great feeling for me or reaching the summit of a big climb, knowing I've run some of it
The sight of my 10 month old and her face turning into a massive beaming smile when I get home at night.
Spending time with Mrs SL away from the stresses of her family and going to Pembrokeshire to live (soon).
Spending time with both of my dogs in the countryside.
Winning the last ticket for the Edale Skyline on ebay after losing the previous 2.
Standing on West Buck Stones for a re-fuel & looking out across to Beamsley Beacon & Simon's Seat.
And, a Red Kite hovering above me.
