The way I walk in the mornings at the moment.. I think I'm there.. I'm crippled by tendonitis.. those first 5 yards.. people at work laugh that whenever I walk down a flight of stairs or get up from my chair its with a grimace...

It always amazes me that running up and down hills is OK(ish) but walking dowstairs in the morning OUCH...

I have a dark suit. This is worn at weddings and funerals, I have no other need for it. Over the years it was worn for many friends weddings, it dawned on me today that it is now worn solely for friends funerals .
Needless to say I was at a friends funeral (some on here may have known Carl Edwards - organiser of Rhayader Mountain Trail, Christmas Cracker, Monks Trod, new Reservoir Roundabout). A sad moment indeed, when indistructable stalwarts start dropping.

You're doing OK. My toes couldn't cope with Walshes in my 20s.

It's Inov-8s my toes can't cope with. They are so capacious that on steep descents i'm bouncing off the ends no matter how tight the laces are, the tight fitting Walsh is the only shoe that i can use on such races as Winder or Kirk Fell.
