Re: Attempts 30th June-1st Jul
Hi Nick.
I might be heading up on my lonesome for a run in the lakes on Sunday, although nothing is certain yet on whether i'll be able to have the car. Depending on what time you set off, there is a possibility I could make my run be in the leg 3 / 4 zone in which case I'd be happy to watch over your shoulder navigation wise! I haven't really been out on the route since my round a year ago, but should still know all the bits pretty well.
Feel free to send me your schedule - my email is andrew.j.p.parker@gmail .com .
Good luck, and don't worry about the navigation... as long as you pick the right 42 hills it's easy - you just go to the top!

I'm doing all my own navigation, which I'm enthusiastic about, but slightly nervous about how much energy it will use up, and if I'll still be able to think straight by Wasdale.

Good Luck Robin!! Wish we could be there to support you but we have to go and get jolly pissed at a wedding instead! Let us know how you get on, and good luck to your sport crew!

Good luck to him. I was also out on Leg 2 last night doing a club BB challenge and Andy's right, it was horrible, heavy rain, very misty, wind gusting. Seemed to be localised though, on the way back it was totally dry by the time we reached Ambleside.

Hope it's going OK Robin! Should be into Leg 4 by now, fingers crossed..
Good luck with your attempt Nick! Hope this cr@p weather does one.. although the cloud base does look like it's lifting which is some comfort.

Alright I suppose, better than sitting on my a*s* at home. Three weeks since my attempt and legs not fully recovered yet, felt like I needed to get out there again - I could have picked a better night for it! How about you mate, feeling strong?
Anyone know how Robin went on?
