Path Closure

How long is the section on the surfaced road?
All things going well I will be running it with Andy next Sat night.

You have to admire the guys honesty with his time, he told me that although he was gutted to have just missed out that he would be back at some point to try again so good luck to him next time.

I completed my BGR this weekend and we just went through the "footpath closed" signs. We managed to get through as there was no obstructions. They are obviously planning to dig some of it up for sewer works at some point so maybe best if someone local keeps an eye on it.

I measured it as 4.75 miles exactly from Newlands Church.

I noticed the path was open on saturday morning. I guess they open things up for weekend walkers and then close it again midweek. That's quite a common thing to do in the lakes.
