I've helpfully already completed the first page (on the basis that I manage to leave exactly on time if nothing else) and all time recorders should hopefully be able to scrawl the time nicely and not go over the lines of the box provided...

Incidentally remind me to have a word with my waterproof notepad supplier Hester - the notepad only had 50 pages and I of course need to record 52 times (including Moot Hall, Threkeld, Dunmail, Wasdale and Honister arrivals and departures). Luckily I was supplied with two notepads and I've been able to take two pages from one to add to the other.... but, phew, it took me a while to come up with that solution!

You're expecting neat handwriting? Forget that, I can only write neatly in other languages and Mark's a doctor, he can only write in illegible scrawl. It's a deliberate ploy to confuse patients.

Maybe Mark can help with Stolly's OCD?!! Re the above: @Stolly, your supplier thought...42 peaks, 2 for the moot hall and 4 road pitstops...anyway, I've printed off the schedule and got busy with a pink highlighter and I'm now factoring in where the support crew can safely nap for an hour or so. In the meantime, I'm going back to print my goldfinch.

Well, I have to say that if I'd have had what amounted to a crevasse in the sole of each foot I'd have hated the road bit too :D
p.s. Cheers Andy

Through Dunmail on schedule. Am running over to Wasdale to meet them and guide round leg 4 this morning. Will send news whenever the opportunity arises. No, I don't own an iPhone!
Re: Attempts 27/28/29 July
Hi everyone, update on Stolly. Leg 1 was a bit tricky but he cracked it & was 15mins down but I've just seen him off at Dunmail & he's only 4mins behind plus the wrsther & visibility have improved loads. Thanks to Gav & Lee for helping us on 1st leg (I ran too). Adrian & Mark on 2nd & MartynP, Protodoc & Lucas are taking over now. Will try & post an update after Wasdale.
