Indeed - struggling with an ankle injury myself at the moment. This has been niggling away for ages but I think this was made much worse by doing 2 tough races within 7 days of each other last year. Sometimes we just need to appreciate why we run - unfortunately it takes something like an injury to bring this into focus.

Not usually noted for my wisdom but thanks anyway!
Had 2 weeks off from running and thanks to the magic of rest, ice, ibuprofen etc. managed a 10 mile trail race today. A bit sore now and maybe I'll pay for it tomorrow, but I took it real slow and just enjoyed the fact that I was actually doing it. Had a bit of banter along the way, saw some lovely countryside and enjoyed a couple of pints with friends afterwards. Time was rubbish (6 minutes down on last year) but you know, I'm really not bothered. Sometimes its just good to be out there.

Hi, I had sore achilles for a few months on and off. I did the massage twice a day for 2 weeks as demonstrated on this video and it has now gone. I also used tiger balm to ease the soreness and achilles stretches a few times a day. Good luck!
