No, it was under the bridge just up the beck from the Holme Lane. I don't think the route went right upto to the pinacles but you're right in retrospect I should have enjoyed it.

i shall be driving as quick as possible back from Northern Ireland to be at this one great route great race i also know of the newest of the new Ponies the (Prancing Pony Tony the Gay icon) picture on way, word has it that the old one The Master may even come to this if he can tear himself away from his groupies.

aww does the master have a following, he must have a caravan then! can't be females following him around he has got to that stage of life which requires false teeth and nursing homes..

I reckon 9k is about right for my comeback after 3 years out of anything longer than 5k. 7 miles probably isn't!

How do you know there wont be z beer station at the top? It may depend on who's marshalling and who gets there first surely?
