Re roughness of terrain terrain on these World races, the Kaisermarathon which Wyatt won easily last year is mostly trail and tarmac - road flats are fine in good weather - its the venue for the 2009 World long distance mountain running challenge. Its far from easy at 26.2 miles and about 6,700ft ascent but it aint at all rough. Five of us who did the Wadsworth Trog 2009 also did the Kaisermarathon 2008 and 3 commented that the Trog was harder.
