Our kid used to do that regularly, but he was for ever falling asleep and woke up with a very soggy book. :D
I always use waterproof full book cover;)

Re: Brilliant Book:Fell Runnin
Yes, but until yesterday I believed that 'Fargo' was based on a true story - life is so complex these days. You can't even depend on replacing a set of Walshes with another set, its all wide fit, rubber thingies and now trail affairs - I just can't cope:o

Re: Brilliant Book:Fell Runnin
I am reliably informed that after less than a week sales are already in three figures.
Do you really want to be the last person in your club to have your own copy?

I'm not sure that buying the book should get you preferential treatment by Mountain Rescue when you wander off course and graze your knees on a fell race :p
-
Re: Brilliant Book:Fell Runnin
Oh, and I have read some of the book in the bath, and managed not to drop it. Great read.

Re: Brilliant Book:Fell Runnin
No sign of mine yet after more than a week, which I think is pretty lousy considering the P&P was a whopping £5. You can send a book guaranteed next-day for that ...
-
Re: Brilliant Book:Fell Runnin
I understand sales are approaching 200 copies and it hasn't even been reviewed yet in The Fellrunner,Trail etc.

Got mine quite quickly. However I believe that this online publisher doesn't print large runs but more prints to order. This is how they can afford to take on low volume publications such as this.

Re: Brilliant Book:Fell Runnin
Had it, read it.
Was a good read and being a collection of not-too-long stories was great for reading on the train (and in the bath :)).
It's looking rather beaten up already though
