Thanks for the sentiments Daz and OneHill. - Yes it was a pretty heavy fall and bloody painful to boot. Waited five mins or so to recover and then set off - just couldn't run properly, it was just too painful when I breathed deeply and could only manage one lap. Actually called into the hospital on the way home and they confirmed what I thought I had done
Actually a lot worse just now - I sooo feel like an old man right now
Guess I will have to have an enforced rest

Completed my first race...my wife had just finished cleaning the hall when I got back - she wasn't best pleased with the amount of mud I brought home with me!! :)

was a great race 3rd senior man and 5th overall,so well pleased definately doing the next one,bad luck to two of my fellow club members one went the wrong way and one went head over tit at the start,it felt a lot longer than 5.2 aswell but all in all a good thumbs up race.

Ran the race today. The big freeze ended in these parts last night and with a prolonged dry spell it meant the going was good and firm under foot, with the usual 2 boggy bits. I had a good day. :)
